Welcome to Book Layout Studio

Deliver a Book Your Readers Will Buy and Want to Read Right Now!

If you’re like most publishers and authors I’ve worked with, you’re pressed for time and juggling multiple projects. You rely on all the members of your team to handle their specific tasks as efficiently as possible so you can reach the ultimate goal:

A finished book that people want to buy and read right now.

My part of the job is to take that raw copy and turn it into a book that’s ready for printing and then selling, while being easy and enjoyable to work with.

Since all of my layout and design work is in the printing and direct marketing world, I understand the importance of getting the job done as quickly and efficiently as possible as well as being easy to work with.

Based on client comments, that’s not just me making unsupported claims.

Those qualities are going to make your life, and your book project, a lot smoother.

Print and digital books were among my earliest projects as a direct market designer. As someone who loves to read, and appreciates the sharing of valuable information through books, book layout is an important part of my layout and design work.

I love being a part of projects that help people learn and grow in some way.

To give you a quick overview of my cover and interior work, I’ve created a 15-page book layout sampler:

What are your specific challenges in getting a book completed on budget and on schedule?

To learn more about your needs, I start every new potential relationship with a free project evaluation by phone to talk about your book project and determine if we’re a good fit for each other.

Part of the value of the call is not only for me to learn more about you, but for you to be comfortable with me.

I’m fortunate to work with many repeat clients and understand how important personality is in addition to layout and design skills.

Contact me today to set up a time to talk.

Because I handle every project personally and have to restrict how many projects I accept at one time, my calendar can fill up quickly.

So please don’t wait until the last minute. In fact, it’s a great idea to talk now even if a project is months away.

Then, when a project is ready, we’re already comfortable with each other and can hit the ground running.

I look forward to hearing from you and helping you give your readers a fantastic book and reading experience.
